Job Description
- Build ground up cost estimates for new projects currently being developed.
- Assist in preparing external schedule to client and internal schedule for projects team.
- Analyze project expenses and compare it to budget.
- Produce and document the planning deliverables including programs, planning philosophy, presentations and reports.
- Produce the tender program and supporting information in accordance with the tender requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize costs.
- Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures.
- Roll out clear cost-saving programs with timelines and assessment goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering/Electrical is preferred from a reputable university (Cairo- Ain Shams).
- 3-5 years minimum experience in cost engineering activities with leading construction companies.
- has a degree in PMP/IPMA
- specialized planning & scheduling software utilization / Primavera is required.
- Strong mathematical background.
- Strong effective oral and written communication, inter-personal and organizational skills.
- Work effectively independently and collaboratively in team-oriented environment.
- Fluent English.
