Senior Software Developer - Ruby on Rails
About the Job
- We are looking for three experienced RoR Developers for a 6 months period to work on one of the largest e-learning Platforms in Europe with a german client in Stuttgart.
- The actual project duration is estimated to be around 5 years, hence a very high likelihood for a contract extension.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills
1. Database:
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
2. Front-End:
- Grasp of HTML and HTML-generating markup languages like ERB, HAML, SLIM or Liquid.
- Experience with a JS framework preferably React.
- Understanding of CSS (SCSS, SASS or LESS) . Nobody expects you to be a designer, but you need to able to convert design to code or at least tweak
3. Back-End:
- Obviously Rails (preferably you should have experience with several recent major releases)
- Good grasp of testing and be familiar with at least one testing framework.
4. Infrastructure:
- Experience with Scrum.
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design,development, and deployment)
- Knowledge with SSO, Encryption of data, dataflow and workflow.
