Job Description
- Examines incoming shipments to verify receipt of the correct types and quantity of materials and supplies.
- Unpacks and inspects items for damage/shortage.
- Interacts with the data control system to identify the classification of items (stock/non-stock). Accurately processes items according to standard operating procedures.
- Stores items at designated locations accurately.
- Performs par level counts as assigned and input levels to produce pick letters.
- Receiving and delivery information.
- Maintains records of material and supplies and related materials management activities, as required.
- Receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping materials.
- Communicate effectively with staff to resolve problems relating to warehouse/distribution functions.
- Update and maintain inventory records on the data control system.
- Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in hospital management and medical field.
- Knowledge of the hospital information system ( HIS) software is a must.
