Job Description
StatsBomb is looking for a person to fill the Head Of Training of The Football Team position who will hire and train that collection team.
Responsibilities and Objectives:
- The Head of Football Training holds a strategic role, he/she will have full ownership of the football collection product training process, by developing the current training program for the data specs and the collection app and delivering it to the new collectors.
- He/She will be responsible for overseeing, the creation of educational content, collateral and other training materials that will impact product knowledge training and keeping it up to date.
- Update of the hiring scorecard to define the calibers required for data collection roles and what backgrounds they should have.
- The Head of Football Team Training will play an analytical role where he/she conducts ongoing assessments of training and development programs. He/She will be tasked with the creation of testing and evaluation processes of the effectiveness of training programs.
- The Head of Training and Development is also responsible for maintaining knowledge in the department, keeping it up to date with the latest training practices, trends, and technology. He/She will learn, document and share best practices with the collection and product teams.
- Supervision of the creation of regular engaging material to increase and refresh collectors' understanding of the data specifications and the app through internal social channels. The strategy for the internal training content creation will be his/her responsibility.

Required qualifications:
- Advanced Football knowledge, having played/playing the sport is a bonus.
- Advanced presentation and content creation skills.
- Experience in training roles.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills. A candidate for this position must be a strategic and creative thinker, he/she will be detail and result oriented, be open and welcoming to change, be comfortable working in group settings, be self-motivated working under minimal supervision, have an ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate composure under stress and in times of uncertainty.
