Job Description
- Design specific plumbing, firefighting, HVAC and mechanical engineering systems in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within his Section.
- Responsible for efficient and effective design of plumbing & firefighting and mechanical engineering works, preparation of drawings, contract documents, etc.
- Verifies that all designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with PCE policies and manuals.
- Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the project architect, as applicable.
- Producing complicated drawings and charts in a specialized field, involving planning, layout, bill of materials, etc. for major installations.
- Responsible for generation of Assembly drawings and bills of materials.
- Responsible for meeting design to cost figures.
- Responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner.
- Participates in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs and codes.
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Good English language skills (written and spoken).
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Leadership / Teamwork / Collaboration.
