Job Description
Haronco for Construction and Building is looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our construction project in Tanta.
The Mechanical Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical MEP works on site, ensuring that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedule, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate mechanical works including HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems.
Review and implement approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Follow up on daily site activities and ensure proper installation and execution of mechanical systems.
Coordinate mechanical works with civil, architectural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
Inspect materials and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved materials.
Prepare and follow up on material requirements, quantity takeoffs, and BOQ-related activities.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the project management team.
Monitor work progress and report daily/weekly progress and site issues.
Identify technical problems and coordinate their resolution with the relevant parties.
Ensure that all mechanical works are executed safely and according to approved procedures.
Participate in testing, commissioning, inspection, snagging, and handover activities.
Assist in preparing RFIs, technical submittals, inspection requests, and other project documentation.
Ensure that mechanical works are completed according to the project schedule and required quality standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in mechanical construction/MEP projects.
Previous experience in HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems is required.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD and reading/interpreting mechanical drawings.
Good understanding of shop drawings, BOQ, specifications, and installation methods.
Experience in site supervision and coordination with subcontractors and other disciplines.
Good knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures is preferred.
Good command of Microsoft Office.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on-site in Tanta, Gharbia.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
