Job Description
- Designs, develops, and maintains software using ESRI software suite as well as programming tools.
- Analyzes and interprets complex business rules, methods, and practices.
- Performs database design modifications.
- Develops programming specifications for assigned tasks.
- Analyzes programs for ease of implementation and data conversions.
- Analyzes, reviews, and regenerates program code to increase operating efficiency.
- Tests system and confers with Project Managers to assure satisfaction.
- Creates program source code; performs standardized validation tests; and debugs code when issues are identified.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a GIS environment using Esri technology
- Experience in ESRI, ArcGIS server, ArcGIS desktop, GIS developer.
- Experience in Development of Web-based GIS Applications, and working with ArcGIS Web App Builder.
- Experience with ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Server, Hands on working experience on WEB API, Web Services, JSON, XML
- Experience with ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
- Sound Knowledge of GIS concepts like GIS Data formats, Projections, Editing of GIS Data, Geo-referencing.
- Must possess knowledge of databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Should have good articulation skills to understand and translate user requirements to development specifications.
- Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks concurrently.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and be teamwork oriented.
