Job Description
Job Purpose
Nagwa is looking for a talented illustrator who combines art, design, and creativity to develop ideas and produce original visual illustrations for a wide range of print and digital publication products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing rough drafts according to requirements
- Combining hand drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations
- Using various colors, graphics, and effects to express each concept
- Developing character illustrations from concept and sketches to finished products
- Thinking creatively and using imagination to produce new ideas for displayed pictograms to help students understand the questions better
- Working on creating covers for children’s books
- Ensuring that illustrations meet the quality and color standards
- Staying up-to-date with new design techniques and software
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, or a relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent drawing skills (both by hand and digital pen)
- A portfolio with an outstanding body of work that demonstrates experience in illustrating
