Job Description
- Identifying manufacturing needs for new products in development;
- Creating and reviewing Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products;
- Ensuring all product and system requirements are taken into account from the initial product conception to the finished result;
- Assisting with shop floor layout and cell designs whenever needed;
- Generating production documentation such as working instructions;
- Issuing Work Orders;
- Leading production supervisors and operators to execute production plan and achieve targets;
- Allocating manpower on different functions and resolving any attendance issues on daily basis;
- Monitoring production processes and coordinating with planning department to adjust schedules whenever required;
- Organizing plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time;
- Reviewing production reports and preparing productivity analysis accordingly (including down time analysis and efficiency analysis);
- Implementing changeover processes in accordance to the production plan;
- Monitoring the usage of production consumables;
- Implementing quality control requirements, activities and procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, minimize costs and meet required specification;
- Reducing variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions;
- Reviewing quality reports and analyzing defect rates, scrap rates and using quality tools to define problems and resolve them;
- Monitoring waste rates, production scrap and finding methods to reduce wastes;
- Plan and organize preventive maintenance schedule proportional to the production plan;
- Leading the maintenance technicians in responding to breakdowns;
- Generating maintenance documentation and downtime analysis;
- Ensuring compliance to Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 requirements
Job Requirements
- Education B.Sc. of Production Engineering (CPIM knowledge is a plus)
- Experience 2-3 years
