Job Description
- Supervising the staff and daily activities within his/ her shift
- Optimize employee workflow
- Report on warehouse productivity during his shift
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods
- Work closely with planning & logistics to ensure best dispatch value for the company
- Review timeliness of scheduled deliveries
- Coordinate with fleet department / Freight forwarder to ensure easy & sustain flow of products.
- Track & trace inventory levels
- Checking orders, shipping documents, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.
- Ensure that facility equipment is properly maintained
- Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Requirements
Qualifications or Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in containers loading
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse / dispatch operations and management
- Previous experience as a dispatch supervisor or finish good warehousing or a similar management position.
- Hard worker, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to delegate.
- Ultra communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent Knowledge of MS office, Specially ( Excel & Word )
- Problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor degree in business, management, logistics or a related field
- Fluent English written & spoken
