Job Description
- Decompose requirements and develop test scripts for projects.
- Provide test plan and estimates for all components of QA cycle.
- Handle test execution requests and provide test results summary report.
- Ensure overall adherence to QA test protocol and processes.
- Understand and analyze the application under test in terms of Object Identification.
- Track progress and report metrics to Test Manager.
- Participate in the review process.
- Frequent collaboration with Development, Business and Support teams to clarify specifications, raise issues/concerns and identify risks throughout the software development life cycle.
- Actively participate in process improvements.
- Demonstrate mature and sophisticated approach to problem solving.
Job Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in software testing.
- Proficient at preparing test data and managing defects.
- Working knowledge with API testing tools, Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, TestNG and Data-based testing.
- Knowledge in using various automation testing and analysis tools (Sahi Pro is a plus).
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to understand and maintain automation frameworks.
- Good practice in tracking and managing changes to scripts.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Independent and capable of resolving and identifying product issues.
- Good time management and respecting deadlines.
- Knowledge in database queries, different Application Servers, and Web/Windows Services.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams.
- Very good communication skills.
