Network Engineer Level 3 (OIL & GAS)

Network Administration:

• Manage  and  administer all network systems,servers  and applications,   maintain   network   performance,   troubleshoot network problems,test network for weakness & enhancements.
• Manage and administer all Network systems servers and the applications they are running.
• Configure and maintain network equipment (Switches, ADSL Modems, MPLS connectivity, Firewalls)
• Collaborate with other administrators to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration and processes.
• Carry out IT infrastructure projects, from start to end making sure meeting user’s expectation meet the budget and milestone of the project.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform network firmware upgrades and patches.
• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
• Provide support to implement and maintain the network security in conjunction with the Security.
• Work directly with security team to establish and enforce IT security best practices, protection objectives, process improvements and effective IT security controls.
• Assist in IT security incident response and documentation.
