Job Description
- Develop and manage production plans for all steel fabrication activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Review fabrication drawings and BOQs to determine material, manpower, and machine requirements.
- Monitor daily production progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Lead the planning team and ensure proper allocation of tasks and priorities.
- Track project timelines, delays, and constraints, providing solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
- Ensure all planning documentation, reports, and schedules are accurate and updated.
- Improve planning processes and workflow efficiency across fabrication departments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in steel fabrication planning, including at least 3 years in a supervisory/section head role.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, bending, painting, assembly).
- Solid experience with planning software (ERP/MRP systems).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
