Job Description
- Maintains accurate inventories of raw and packaging materials, MRO and finished products.
- Conducts physical inventory and/or cycle count, performs discrepancy reconciliation and reports findings to physical to supervisor and accounting.
- Maintains and control of FIFO inventory system, where applicable.
- Maintains and control supplies located at warehouse area.
- Maintains the control of good receiving and dispatching to Production and other support areas in a timely manner.
- Drive the Warehouse team to seek for continuous improvements.
- Coordinates and follows up with Production, QA/QC and other areas required task to ensure orderly efficient movement of Raw Material into manufacturing.
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Motivating and disciplining staff.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Prepare annual budget
- Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Produce reports and statistics regularly
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Job Requirements
- 5+ years warehouse management experience.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Ability to operate forklift effectively.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
- ERP Exposure
