Job Description

  • Maintaining client accounts within database.
  • Building relationships and sales pipelines in the creative industries
  • Efficiently following up on all tasks resulting client meetings.
  • The timely provision of accurate music searches for client music briefs either directly or via the music supervision team.
  • Providing weekly progress reports on client feedback including releases, usage, music trends, new projects, relevant events, and new contacts.
  • Attend industry functions, conventions and in person client/prospect visits as needed.
  • Maintain complete understanding, knowledge, and implementation of sales process including opening statement, production analysis, music recommendations, web demos, customized sales proposal, follow up and consummation of the sale
  • Work closely with Music Yard talents on branding, releases and commercial activities.
  • Provide sales/marketing ideas and feedback to management
  • Represent company with a positive attitude towards clients, prospects, and coworkers from all departments

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in the world of music or media and a tenacity with new business creation
  • passionate about music and how it plays an integral role in the media landscape
  • Organized and committed to maintaining our CRM database to the highest standard
  • Eager to learn and contribute to our growing business
  • A great communicator and relationship builder – both in person, on email and on the phone
  • Confident in social situations and enjoys networking
  • A motivated, people person with a strong desire to succeed and maintain high ambitions in sales and account management
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and not afraid of working “outside of the box”
  • Happy to work outside normal office hours with an understanding of the non-consistent hours of the client facing music and production industry
  • High energy levels
