Job Description
- Follow up and Screen patient calls in call center and direct them accurately to do the necessary steps according to the medical condition of each case.
- Collecting medical data by asking specific questions to create an accurate description about the cases.
- Gather the essential medical information about cases condition with other authorities: (medical insurance authority -state-funded medical treatment -refuges supporting authorities ... etc.)
- Identify the essential reports and documents that the cases should prepare if the requested service is available according to Mersal Foundation rules.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all required case medical data base.
- Direct cases to other organization such as (Governmental hospitals, .... , international organizations such as the UNHCR, etc.) if they have the required service.
- Establish an initial classification for cases (emergency - urgent - stable) to facilitate the plan for interventions for different departments.
- Coordination between the stage of requesting reports and the coordinator of the "pre-research" for the medical classification by medical coordinators.
- Giving the necessary information to cases about Mersal transfer places (clinics - hospitals .. etc.) after the guidance of case management department.
Job Requirements
- Fresh Graduate Bachelor’s degree Medical background (Physician/Pharmacist).
- Decisive, good decision-making skills, able to escalate response to situations when relevant.
- Professional computer skills and phone knowledge (Excellent phone skills with patients).
- Displays the ability to communicate with others effectively, listen closely, and convey points clearly.
- Strong closing techniques with patient-centered approach and phone skills.
- Proven ability to perform in an unpredictable, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Independent and self-starter.
- Shows the ability to calm frustrated patients quickly and make decisions based upon anticipated outcomes.
