Job Description

  • Leads and supervise Operation team to perform the day to day department functions and tasks coordinates and delegates the tasks 
  • Helps with training/motivation of the staff 
  • Helps with staff evaluation 
  • Helps in maintaining a comfortable and productive working environment 
  • Helps with full systems development (concept, design, implementation, test, production and support) 
  • Communicates with leaders of other teams to coordinate and better understand the needs/requirements/issues 
  • Helps with the overall success and goals over achievement of the team by offering constructive ideas/suggestions and supporting teams decisions. 
  • Participates and assists in maintaining the team in by coaching, training, motivating, communicating job/project requirements, and evaluating the staff.
  • Coordinates/assigns tasks to the system administrators.
  • Provides 2nd level support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution on escalated issues.
  • Assessing IT system performance/efficiency, compared to where it would like to be, and compiling recommendations on how to improve performance and assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure Resources/Tools/Staff.
  • Managing large-scale projects from initial planning and development.
  • Work to implement the Information Technology strategic plan activities cost-effective and consistent with strategies of the business.
  • Coordinates with vendors/external maintenance companies to perform maintenance or installations of new/existing equipment/services.
  • Interacts with internal/External employees on all levels to resolve IT related complex issues and provides answers and information for inquiries.
  • Provides information and reports related to team performance, assets and inventory and enterprise requirements.
  • Develops guides for IT services and documents and reports about information related to IT assets, S\W and H\W inventory 
  • Recommend equipment replacements and upgrades.
  • Ensure all standard processes are in place and followed by the team.

Job Requirements

  • + 5 years’ Experience working in environments with various Azure based IaaS, PaaS & SaaS (ASE, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure AD, Azure ADDS, etc)
  • +2 years Experience in a similar position.
  • Technical knowledge of AWS EC2, VPC, Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, S3, EBS and RDS.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (Communications engineering or computer science background is preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of virtualization technology, VXRail, Data domain and Avamar are preferred.
  • Expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies such as Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Excellent English written and spoken.

Certifications:

  • Certification of one of the 6/9 months MCIT/ITI diplomas is a plus
  • MTA/MCSA Certificate is a must, MCSE is preferred.
  • Cloud Certification is a huge plus
  • ITIL foundation.
