Data Center Facility Engineer

1- Responsible for monitoring Data Center system performance, identifying anomalies which may result in equipment failure, and developing plans for resolution and carryout troubleshooting in a safe and effective manner 

2- Advanced knowledge of Data center systems including system architecture and design, system operational parameters and performance criteria, and fault isolation and problem resolution strategies.

3-Assist in interfacing with equipment vendors for problem identification and resolution.

4- Operation and maintenance of HVAC system involving Chillers, CRAH units, AHU and high and low side of chilled water system.

5- Participates in the design and commissioning of GPX’s data centers.

6- Responsible for ongoing testing of GPX’s critical Data Center systems.

7- Follows and executes procedures, standards and technical training related to equipment operations and maintenance. Schedule and carry out periodic inspections and routines maintenance of all data center equipment as per OEM requirement and maintain equipment checklist and service reports.

8- Prepare and maintain records of Change Management, Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in addition to daily, weekly, monthly shift reports on all incidents to Data Center Management

9- Ability to operate all data center facility equipment including BMS, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, and computer/network hardware according to procedures. 

10- Respond to emergency situations in an efficient, friendly and timely manner. 

11- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.

12- Working on a shift basis

13- Implementing any related data center work upon request by management team
