Job Description
- Reporting to operation manager.
- Most likely, will manage and give a training for a junior facade coordinator.
- Decide and develop the most appropriate economic models and engineering methods for project refer to each project contract's terms, condition, items, location, budget...
- Determining the necessary path for a project to get completed on time
- Build up project timeline considering each project aspects starting with engineering stage passing through materials supply chain and production ending with erection activities till handover.
- Monitor day-to-day work progress for a project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delays.
- Continually make comparisons between planned progress and actual progress and report any differences to operation manager.
- Analyze expenses and cash flow to identify opportunities to save cost.
Job Requirements
- Seeking a Planning Engineer with experience in construction and specifically in Facade Glazing, windows and doors projects.
- Must be proficient in Primavera P3 and P6.
- Must have a bachelors degree in civil engineering and min 3 years experience in the same industry or similar.
- Strong understanding of technical engineering principles to predict future problems and find solutions for them.
- Strong verbal and written skills to provide reports to clients and board as well as articulate complex project plans to team members.
- Able to produce visual presentations, using bar charts and graphs to explain work schedules.
- Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Access Database).
- Alexandria residents preferred.
