Job Description
- Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of our products and services
Participate in the implementation and optimisation of Technical Office policies and procedures
Receive ‘As Built’ drawings and compare with submitted documents to ensure consistency
Create RFIs as required to inquire about conflicting or missing information - Work closely with other related technical / non-technical departments to ensure the best output (production, warehouse, design, procurement, sales, finance, operations, etc.)
Represent the company in technical meetings and presentations
Optimise operations
Produce detailed production orders, cutting lists and shop drawings and specify the nature, quantity and quality of the materials required and select suitable accessories and methods - Support in all aspects of pricing, prototyping and production
Prepare layouts and presentations
Quantify drawings
Analyze technical aspects of design factors, calculating weights, volumes and stress
Job Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in English and Arabic (French recommended)
- At least 1 years experience in the furniture industry with experience in preparing workshop drawings, layouts and cutting lists
- Academic background in product design, applied arts, interior design, engineering or architecture
- Willing to adapt to flexible working hours
- Excellent command of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Experience working with CNC machines
- Recommended to have experience with Primavera, 3D Max & Auto desk Inventor
- Must be enthusiastic, passionate and eager to learn.
- Ability to work smoothly in a team with organisational efficiency
