Job Description
- Progoodness Foods is a start-up specialized in the healthy snacks and cereal bars category. The position is based at the company's factory in the sixth of October Industrial Zone.
Tasks:
- Independently lead the product development process for the company's new range of healthy snacks.
- Ensuring developed recipes comply with micro-nutrient and other nutritional requirements determined by management.
- Integrate feedback from management on prototypes and adjust accordingly in order to reach agreed upon final product.
- Provide advice on sourcing of ingredients in order to enhance quality and optimize costs of the finished product.
- Manage shelf life testing process to esnure product is ready for market.
- Ensuring compliance with all Egyptian authorities’ regulatory requirements and standards in the development process.
- Participating in Audits by clients and government authorities to esnure compliance with quality regulations and standards.
Job Requirements
- A degree in food science or a related field
- Experience working in a technical capacity developing new products
- Previous experience working with cereals and healthy snacks highly desirable
- Advanced knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Skilled in using Microsoft excel and word
