Job Description

Job Summary:

 Provide clinical demonstrations and instruction for use of AMECATH products in pre-sale, implementation and post-sale situations informal education as well as a small group or individual presentations in patient care areas, to gain or increase acceptance and utilization of AMECATH products and technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are required to be performed by the employee but are not limited to these, as other

duties may be assigned.

  • Provides technical assistance and support in response to field inquiries from physicians, health care professionals, and field sales staff.
  • Provides regional in-filed support on an as-needed basis.
  • Develops and executes trouble-shooting for highly complex medical devices.
  • Assists in the support of complex cardiac mapping procedures
  • Remains technically competent relative to best practices and the products offered in the marketplace.
  • Develops, leads and/or facilitates trainings and other programs on Amecath products to healthcare professionals.
  • Performs work that involves a high degree of independence.
  • Identifies and implements the most efficient, cost-effective and best business practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness.
  • Identifies reports and advises of customer needs, product performance and potential sales opportunities to sales representatives / director and/or management to influence sales growth and service of accounts.
  • Participates in the creation and implementation of long- and short-term sales and business strategies.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned, which may include taking call on evenings and weekends for time difference situation.
  • Takes shared ownership of Amecath’s training programs, relating to the training of Amecath employees, distributors and customers.
  • Design and develop instructional material for end user training courses that supports company products, branding and initiatives.
  • Support Key Opinion Leaders to develop engaging, clinical end user education.
  • Contribute to higher level train-the-trainer sessions for subject matter experts and regional trainers, providing device-related hands-on training and preparing and delivering relevant clinical and research-related presentations.
  • Work with the sales Team to design, deliver and lead instructor-led courses for staff and distributors around the world, covering the full range of Amecath devices, how to position and sell the devices, and related clinical/research topics. This may include virtual trainings in different time zones, requiring early morning or evening work on occasions.

This is a full-time post with travel for an estimated 25-30% of the time. Travel may not be distributed evenly throughout the year. The candidate will report directly to the Commercial Director

Job Requirements

Job Profile:

The Position Needs a Medical Background with no postgraduates as a minimum Required Education, Experienced at the same role for 3 Years (dealing with CVC, Urology or dialysis catheters). Taking into consideration that, the role has no supervisory role. 

But, at the communication level he has a Regular contact with others, including Employee, general public, visitors, and personnel. with a Purpose of contacts is to explain, clarify, or interpret information. He May handle confidential information and some complex matters.

Also, he may need moderate problem-solving skills to address the complaints, needs and feedback(s) to ensure that needs are identified, documented and addressed. 

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in training, ideally in a corporate environment.
  • Clinically trained (OR, ICU, ER)
  • Nursing background is a plus.
  • Experience reading and analyzing research papers a plus
  • Independent traveler
  • MS Office proficiency, especially PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with public speaking/giving engaging presentations
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple parallel assignments
  • Attention to detail/accuracy important
  • Self-motivated, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to work independently / self-manage
  • Ability to think proactively and plan and execute resourcefully
  • Knowledge of an additional language a plus
  • Experience of using a wide range of Amecath devices a plus
