Job Description

Job Brief

Mitcha is looking for a detail-oriented senior accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

In addition to that the accounting & HR leader is responsible for processing payroll and maintaining employee database regarding compensation & benefit. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial analysis and reports.
  • Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Preparing special tax returns.
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, and procedures.
  • Monitor daily cash balances and determine cash requirements needed to cover losses and payments
  • Execute payments to suppliers according to payment terms in addition to supplier reconciliation
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting staff as required or assigned.
  • Supervise Warehouse & Inventory stock count
  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses , KPI assessments …etc. with assistance of a computer system
  • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system or distribute paychecks
  • Administer statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in Odoo ERP system is a Plus
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Great attention to detail and confidentiality
