Job Description

Importation 

  • Communicate any updated regulations / strategies / compliance to the sales section head to be considered when preparing any PO.
  • Organizing work schedules and issuing shipping instructions to ensure delivery times and locations are coordinated.  This will also include track and trace with agencies and MOH so as to monitor goods at all times.
  • Checking that all invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and Customs regulations.
  • Prepare and execute trial orders with cooperation with concerned parties.
  • Plan, administer and implement all import strategies according to supplier(s) and the governmental concerned parties to ensure compliance.
  • Partner with suppliers and inventory planners to ensure accurate movement of all international products and ensure their arrival within the timeframe and obtain best freight rates.
  • Review agencies’ contracts.
  • Perform all shipment bookings with carriers.
  • Cooperate with the sales team with respect to any new product (market demand, competitors and customer’s complaints) to determine the right agency and the profitable product.
  • Maintain inventory of all products and analyze all insurance documents
  • Provide shipments insurance, design and execute corrective action 
     

Registration and Release

  • Follow up with customs forwards.
  • Deliver/follow the deliverance of products samples to NODCAR and The Central lab
  • Follow up the process of the expired products damage.
  • Follow up the final release of food supplements with the related locations.
  • Maintain safety manuals, inspect physical conditions of warehouses
  • Coordinating packing of unpacked imported products starting from the selection of the factory till the obtaining of the final product.
  • Organize with MOH the arrival of the health inspectors to the store house and prepare samples for analysis.
  • Review and validate the Stability files, for Human Drug products before delivery to the MOH.

People Management

  • Manage the setting of direct reports annual objectives
  • Conducts s performance review and  performance appraisal
  • Setting of staffs annual training plan
  • Setting annual hiring plan
  • Approve staff expenses, vacation’s, missions,……etc. in accordance to the department’s procedures

Job Requirements

  • BSc of Pharmacy /Veterinary /Science.
  • Total Years of experience 15+ including minimum 5 in a managerial position
  • Proven experience in managing healthcare product’s registration, release, regulatory affairs (Diagnostics devices and KITS, Hospital consumable Supplies, Supplements) and import activities
