Job Description
This is a full-time job with flexible working hours (8:00 am - 4:00 pm) or (9:00 am - 5:00 am) or (10:00 am - 6:00 pm). IT IS NOT A FREELANCE JOB!
Selected candidate is expected to handle the following tasks in our office or from home during our business hours:
- Translating religious text from Arabic to English and vice versa
- Reviewing the translation of our junior translators
- Editing and approving the final translated version;
- Collaborating with colleagues by asking and sharing knowledge with the aim to reach the best translation results and help building a professional team.
Job Requirements
You need to show evidence of the following:
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Excellent understanding of religious terms and Islamic sciences
- Accurate understanding of Islamic books and materials (turath books)
- Previous experience in the same field (samples are required)
- Openness to feedback and constructive criticism
