Job Description
- Creating database models and architecture
- Creating and testing proofs of concept
- Managing and monitoring databases
- Implementing and maintaining backup plans
- Write complex analytical logic using SQL
- Drive the implementation of analytic tools for audits
- Ensure data deployments occur through all environments
- Work with app and data teams to identify that all deployment steps are documented and valid
- Participate in pre-deployment meetings as necessary
- Develop operational database guidelines
- Develop database standards and documentation (SOP)
- Provide guidance for platforms and tools
Job Requirements
- More than four years SQL server/Oracle database experience or database administration experience.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle
- Experience with database migration, performance tuning and optimization, and setting up and managing database connections
- Familiar with SQL Reporting services including creating, modifying, and managing custom reports
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of performance tuning and indexes
