Job Description
Purpose:
- To develop the English language of non-native speakers and those new to English.
- To enable inclusion into the mainstream lessons by providing these language skills in sessions taken at other times during the day (French and Arabic)
- To monitor and support student progress.
- To be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area.
- To develop and enhance the teaching practice of others by giving advice and feedback on lessons.
- To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying in the department, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the Governing Body and Principal CEO.
- To be accountable for leading, managing and developing the subject/curriculum area.
- To manage and deploy teaching/support staff, financial and physical resources within the department effectively to support the department development plan.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Fluent in English is a Must
- Good Command of Russian or Italian or Spanish ( Preferably Fluent in one of them )
- 2+ years of Teaching Experience for different age groups is a must
- Qualified Teacher Status, accreditation and/or certification
