Job Description
- Handle purchase process for Machine spare parts and consumable materials for the respective plants, as per requirements
- Follow-up with vendors/suppliers for on-time supply of materials
- Responsible for importing of machines based on requirements
- Maintain and update purchase records, Inward and outward reports reports for purchase function.
- Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
- Authorize and evaluate goods receipt, and ensure adherence to quality
- Manage and adhere to long-term contracts with suppliers
- Ensure adequate stock levels
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure effective support
- Record all transactions and periodically conduct ageing analysis
- Implement & follow up the foreign requisitions for spare parts & machinery supplies within the approved budgets that ensure on time delivery with the minimum costs for all items within purchasing cycle.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Years of experience : 3-5 years in spare parts procurement
- Languages : Fluent Arabic and English
- Good exposure of Spares Management for services industry.
- Related experience in 10th of Ramadan is plus
