Job Description
We are hiring a Data modeler for one of our banking clients:
Description:
- Transform logical models into physical database designs for relational or NoSQL platforms
- Work with the Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models
- Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality, reduce redundancy and optimize performance
- Optimize, update and maintain logical and physical data models, source to target mappings to support new and existing projects
Job Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
- Requires Degree in Computer Science, Business or related technical field
- Knowledge of Teradata technologies
- Knowledge of the banking industry is necessary
- Certified TDWI or DAMA is a plus
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt modeling methods
