Responsibilities:

Design and implement attractive, user-friendly, and functional websites
Create and develop the website architecture
Design and build the website front-end and back-end
Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration
Generate and optimize WordPress themes and plugins
Implement website integration and security updates
Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot content issues
Monitoring the performance of live websites
Manage and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites
Research and gather data of competitors’ websites and tools

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field
1-3 years of proven work experience as a WordPress Developer
Experience building user interfaces for websites or web applications
Good knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
Good writing and editing skills in English
Familiarity with e-commerce, e-marketing, and SEO
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
