Job Description

  • The Technical Support Department is concerned with the administrative and technical supervision of all aspects of the computer network in companies, including the Computer Center, IT HelpDesk Department and computer labs.
  • Managing and following up the work of the companies' computer network and its related servers (Servers) and other devices that support the corporate network such as (Firewall, UPSs, Internet Modems, Wireless Controller, Backup System, SAN Storage) and perform the necessary periodic maintenance and settings for these devices If necessary.
  • Supervising the corporate network protection system and making all necessary settings to ensure that the companies ’network works efficiently and quickly.
  • Direct technical supervision of all corporate network modernization work or the installation of any new hardware or software, as well as overseeing the management of the work and maintenance of the corporate surveillance system through internal and external cameras, as well as supervising the work of the companies ’specialized audio systems.
  • Providing technical advice to the companies' management regarding any projects related to work computerization in companies or developing the computer network infrastructure of internal wired and wireless companies or e-learning systems. Coordination with the departments of different companies to determine their different needs of computers, printers, display devices (Datashow) and other things related to computers and ensure the exploitation of all available devices and redistribute them if necessary.
  • Follow up on maintenance contracts and agreements concluded with the relevant companies, as well as follow-up maintenance work for computers and their related matters externally.
  • Raising the technical competence of the computer center team and the IT Help Desk department, as well as holding training courses to raise the efficiency of company employees with regard to using computers in daily work.
  • Direct supervision of the companies 'email system, as well as the development of the contents of the companies' website. Supervising the updating of the Computer Use Policy document, which clarifies the conditions for using computer network resources in companies
  • Responsible for installing the company's cameras. Responsible for internet networks - landline phones (the company's internal lines and their distribution)

 

Job Requirements

  • Males Only.

  • Good command of English (Written/Spoken)
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Adaptability / Flexibility.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required
