Job Description

Job purpose:

Support all departments with regards to all technical procurement requirements, ensuring the availability of all products / components at the right time, with optimum cost, and with accurate technical specifications, while complying with company’s standards and financial terms.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Identify, and qualify potential new vendors, suppliers and subcontractors in order to secure more cost-effective sources. and review existing contracts and maintain an on-going credible relation with the company’s vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Implementing procurement Plans that are inventive and cost-effective to be reviewed and approved by the senior Management.
  • Analyze and evaluate the organizations overall procurement trends (spend analysis / categories) to identify the high spend areas to identify the potential areas of control and develop the options to minimize the costs and take proper measures.
  • Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required and update inventory and ensure that stocks are kept at appropriate levels.
  • Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.

Job Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High command of English language is preferred.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or in a relevant field.
  • From 5 to 7 years experience in construction industry/ Facility Management in similar position with similar responsibilities.
