Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers and to explain the technical aspects of the product and how it will solve a specific customer problem.
  • Visit customers and open new lead contacts to maintain long term relationships with sales through meeting their requirements in a timely manner 
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
  • Simplifying technical terms during product demonstrations.
  • Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories.
  • Updating orders and sales and negotiating the best contract terms.
  • Listening to customers’ needs and advising them on the best products to buy.
  • preparing tenders, proposals and quotations
  • providing pre-sales and post-sales support
  • reviewing cost and sales performance
  • writing reports and sales literature
  • providing product education and advice
  • ensuring that sales targets are met.
  • Identify and help develop additional sales chanel when required 
  • Talk with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements
  • Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
  • Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production and Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
  • Help in researching and developing new products
  • Using a mix of science and mathematics along with engineering techniques to modify and adjust products to meet customers’ specific needs
  • Working with maintenance teams to develop and implement preventative maintenance processes.
  • Memorizing technical product specifications and keeping up-to-date with new company products as well as industry trends.
  • Attending conferences, lectures, seminars, trade exhibitions, meetings and workshops to improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Conducting market research and obtaining feedback from clients to improve existing products.
  • developing reliability protocols and Writing reports and liaising with the production team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions.

 

Job Requirements

  • Good Verbal and written Communication Skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language-extra language is a plus
  • Able to communicate with overseas principal via telephone and emails.
  • Good Knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.
  • Experience and good knowledge of Valves and Piping..
  • Preferable MBA (Marketing) .
  • A valid driver’s license. - If Applicable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3+ year of experience in Sales  in Oil & Gas Industry. Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
  • A professional appearance.
