Job Description

The world leader Company in the production of adhesives and chemical products for the building industry was founded in Milan in 1937, . We implemented our internationalisation strategy in the 1960’s and this has enabled us to be closer to the needs of regional markets and reduce transport costs to a minimum. The Group now has 89 subsidiaries with 81 production facilities in 36 different countries. We have always invested heavily in Research & Development and most of our efforts are focused on developing eco-sustainable and eco-compatible products.

Responsibilities

  1. In-charge for inventory movements and control.
  2. Follow up on the production and / or the importation.
  3. Follow up on the process of goods delivery & documentation.
  4. Provide the logistics services needed, in terms of transportation, warehouse, shipment tracking, custom clearance…etc).
  5. Handling the trucking, goods delivery, routing & scheduling activities.
  6. Work closely with the Sales team to ensure logistics process and goods delivery is done as per the customer request.
  7. Prepare monthly reports related to logistics function.
  8. Responsible to fully understand and develop all related Quality & EHS Management Procedures.
  9. Fully understand the national, local, company and groups HSE policy, procedure and regulations.
  10. Personal Protective Equipment – PPE, care of all company issued PPE.
  11. Inform the Management of the potential or possibility of any Claims, accident, injury or incident with the use of our products or within the company premises.
  12. Ensure that the product supplied to/or specified with our customers is technically fit for purpose and complies with our own HSE requirements and those of our customers.
  13. Observe and follow all ISO and health and safety compliances, including the supervision of staff in this respect

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Adminstration
  • Minimum 7 years of experience
  • Custom clearance experience
  • Health and Safety knowledge 
  • suppliers’ management
  • Understanding warehouse process & inventory cycle
  • Being able to manage transporters
  • Information technology, system user
  • Understanding the custom clearance procedures
