Job Description
- Understanding electrical and mechanical technical documents of tenders
- Breaking down electrical and mechanical scopes of tenders into distinct supply packages
- Prequalifying suppliers for the internal supplier list of each package
- Procuring and assessing supplier offers based on compliance with tender technical specifications/requirements
- Conducting technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers
- Performing efficient supplier selection for each package, based on cost efficiency and technical compliance to tender specifications/requirements
- Outputting a comprehensive list of selected suppliers and selected supplier offers for the items of each package
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of the components of energy and industrial projects and their installation processes on site
- Strong understanding of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) components of buildings and their installation processes on site
- Previous experience working in procurement for electro-mechanical works
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Excel
Strong negotiation skills
