Job Description

  • WE are looking to hire a Deputy Resident Engineer for a huge residential Site in The new administrative capital.
  • The Deputy Resident Engineer should have extensive knowledge and experience in project execution and implementation in residential projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, from a recognized University.
  • PMP certificate is a plus.
  • Leadership: Strong managerial and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate and provide guidance and direction to multi-disciplinary project teams, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance
  • Management of Personnel Resources: Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
  • Must demonstrate his experience in respect of the technical proposals evaluation and its constructibility, technology deployment, solving the technical problems that may arise during construction.
  • Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
  • A proactive approach, working effectively in coordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility in all matters.
  • Be of the highest caliber: punctual, attentive, and competent in adhering to COMPANY’s policies, procedures, and working practices.

Job Requirements

  • Ensure monitoring of the quality of materials and workmanships installed, operated, and maintained.
  • Maintain the Resident Engineer’s daily diary and reports by his subordinates.
  • Liaise with Client, Project Management, and Contractor for resolution of project issues, in addition to concerning Authorities when required.
  • Supervise, review, monitor, and report on progress.
  • Ensure the site safety practices
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Familiarity with conditions of the contract, quality assurance.
  • Liaise with client, co-ordination with Governmental Organization and other Consultants/Contractors
  • Consistently adheres to and enforces internal Company processes and policies such as business and contracting rules.
  • Works in a manner to ensure personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.
  • Approved samples.
  • Arrange a final package for the construction documents (soft copy) dated by the latest issue.
  • Ensure the staff performance and quality assurance for the site work.
  • Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
  • RFI – Request for inspection files of log.
  • Planning the work and efficiently organizing site facilities in order to meet agreed on deadlines.
  • Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
