Job Description
- Responsible for managing all fleet supervisors and drivers within the equipment section.
- Lead the fleet operation equipment like Forklifts, Loaders, Tractor or Dozer and etc..
- Monitoring fleet preventive maintenance, major repairs, and parts inventory.
- Participates in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management decisions.
- Reviews work orders, assigns tasks to employees, and verifies the quality of work performed.
- Responsible for implementing cost control measures.
- Maintains records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed and assures proper data entry.
- Develops and maintains relations with outside vendors.
- Monitor the status of vehicle repairs and meet and confer with vendors to discuss repairs and inspect and evaluate the performance and quality in-house and vendor.
- Evaluate vehicles involved in accidents and recommend repair or replacement.
- Receive and respond to vehicle accidents; drive to accident scenes and conduct
- Accident investigations; gather information, take photos to obtain and prepare accident reports.
- Produce all the needed reports and analysis for current and future purposes.
