Job Description
- Work with the mechanical tendering team to study price offers.
- Obtain factored / sub-supplier costs where necessary.
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals.
- Ensure that tenders meet commercial company guidelines and have the necessary sign-off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
- Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
- Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
- Uploading new contracts on our system.
- Preparation of quotations for new projects.
- Preparation and submission of bidding documents for new projects.
- Preparation of new project budgets.
- Requesting issuance of guarantee letters for new projects.
- Identify and quantify cost factors, such as rates, materials, and labor expenses.
- Develop, negotiate and agree to contract specifications with a variety of external groups, including contractors and end-users.
- Prepare site visit reports after exploring site conditions and surroundings.
- Document and verify the availability of sufficient information.
- Coordinate with the Procurement Department to collect information about market prices for suppliers, subcontractors, and equipment based on previously executed projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in Tendering
- Contracting Background
- Experience in dealing with complex tenders
- Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
- Capable of reading drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and internet.
- Familiar with AutoCAD.
