Job Description
As a Finance Manager, you will have an oversight role over Financial Department. You will organize the department and supervise ten accountants. You need to develop company financial systems including costing systems, accounting, and budgeting. You will also develop policies and procedures for these systems. You will manage bank loans and dealing with banks. You need to effectively manage the company treasury function. You will work in tandem with Senior Management in achieving company objectives and attending to its vision.
The company is migrating to an ERP system; hence you will be required to:
- Join management and other departments to set expectations from the ERP system.
- Evaluate offers from different ERP vendors and assess relevance to company business and objectives.
- Take a responsible role in the implementation of the selected ERP system.
- Ensure that the company's financial systems, policies, and procedures are continuously applied to the new system.
Job Requirements
The candidate needs to have the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Eight years of experience in a financial management position.
- Fifteen years of experience in accounting for manufacturing companies.
- Excellent knowledge in applying costing systems in manufacturing companies.
- Experience in dealing with banks, securing loans, and managing bank liability accounts.
- Team leader.
- Ability to develop supporting team and gain the respect and loyalty of all members.
