Job Description
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times of products and efficiency.
- Supervise the routes of transportation of products to customers.
- Supervise a team and assign tasks for each team members
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints with customers if required
- Maintain entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
- Satisfy customer’s needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
- Direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies and finished products.
- Establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments.
- Developing and confirming schedules for transportation of products.
- Implementing health and safety standards.
- Following up with back orders with the purchasers
- Sorting and solving problems that arise with transportation or products.
- Direct and manage the allocation of both incoming and outgoing freight transportation of products.
- Deal with couriers to get the best reasonable prices to fit the organization
- Create the Purchase orders for transportation.
- Responsible for the customs clearance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering
- 5+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
- Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
- Strong team player
- Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software
