Job Description

  • Participate in negotiations with banks to sign new contracts with MSMEDA, prepare contracts drafts, prepare internal memorandums for credit committees approval, and all other requested procedures till final signature of contracts.
  • Coordinate and follow-up with banks as well as relevant internal MSMEDA sectors/departments during contracts implementation, evaluate contracts performance periodically, and take all necessary action to resolve problems and overcome obstacles.
  • Prepare internal memorandums for credit committees to amend some conditions of on-going contracts and/or sign annexes to increase their amounts based upon actual implementation results.
  • Take necessary procedures/actions to cancel on-going contracts showing weak performance or decrease their amounts, withdraw the unutilized amounts from banks and reschedule their repayment schedules to MSMEDA.
  • Prepare periodical reports to reflect the performance of on-going contracts, the status of new contracts under negotiations, the progress of banks components of international agreements and their utilization plans, as well as other achievements.
  • Participate in MSMEDA’s meeting with new and existing international Donors, review the terms and conditions of new agreements under negotiations as well as those of on-going agreements facing some implementation obstacles, and propose necessary amendments (if any) to match with MSMEDA’s working mechanisms and to ensure ease of implementation through banks contracts.
  • Participate in preparing utilization plans for banks components of international agreements, follow-up their actual implementation through banks contracts to ensure meeting the stated dates, and periodical review/amendment of those plans based upon actual progress and achievements.
  • Continuous communication with the Egyptian banking sector to follow-up latest CBE regulations and any other changes that might affect –directly or indirectly– MSMEDA’s relations with banks

Job Requirements

  • Appropriate university degree (B.Sc. in commerce or business administration or economics).
  • Preferably received a specialized/professional certificate in credit or finance or received professional training in lending.
  • Preferably banking experience not less than 3 years
  • Ability to work under pressure and bear responsibility.
  • Excellent English language.
  • Very good communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and build work relations with internal and external parties.
  • Teamwork and cooperation with colleagues.
  • Efficiency is using computer and its applications
