Job Description
- Maintains and recommends enhancements to existing business applications to cope with newly discovered faults and requirements.
- Designs applications that fulfill the agreed on requirements, upon the approval of business analyst and IT management.
- Held responsible for the implementation of new system features according to business needs and software capabilities.
- Implements, tests and documents the internal design of applications for the purpose of future maintenance and upgrades, as per IT standards and Support IT department in any other task/Project as needed.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge base of the most common system problems and solutions.
- Participates in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders and ensures high-quality end-user support services are offered at all times.
- Handles incidents and problem resolution processes.
Job Requirements
- University degree preferably in Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of experience within the same position.
- In depth technical working experience in critical business application development.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset.
- High Development Skills.
- Must be excellent in written & spoken English and Arabic languages.
- High training skills and able to organize and run meetings, trainings, and similar to successfully reach a common goal.
- Expert in Oracle 11g Database Development (SQL & PL/SQL), TOAD.
- Has good level of information security awareness and IT business analysis.
