Job Description
- Job Purpose:
- Focal point for handling all running projects and coordination between inside and outside customers to ensure timely and effective project completion.
Key job responsibilities
Nature of job impact:
- Defining the scope of the project in collaboration with PMO Manager
- Manage & follow up production issues with operations team
- Manage vendors contracts and ticketing system
- Creating a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Developing a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
- Reviewing the project schedule with the PMO Manager and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
- Setting up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
- Monitoring and reporting the progress of projects
- Manage the relationship with client and all stakeholders including third parties/vendors.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop a detailed project plan, and continually monitor and track progress.
- Conduct detailed Requirement gathering sessions with Business analyst as needed.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
- Measure and report to management project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Monitoring all budgeted project expenditures
Job Requirements

- Educational background needed for the job:
- Bachelor’s degree of computer Science, IT, engineering or any related field.
Professional experience needed for the job:
- At least 2 years’ experience in projects environment
- Banking experience is an asset
- Working on agile projects is preferred
- Experience with managing agile development teams and workflows within JIRA, or similar systems; remote team management experience is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
- Microsoft Project proficiency is a must
- Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency
