Job Description
- Supervising the safety of personnel & machines with follow-up the execution of safety instructions & suggest the required recommendations to increase the safety in the working environment.
- Operate, maintain, and improve Electrical equipment’s, facilities, components and DCS system
- Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical equipment to ensure conformance to design, equipment specifications and safety standards.
- Assist in developing capital project programs for new electrical and major repairs.
- Compile data, write reports and maintain system regarding existing Loads, power factor, energy consumption. electrical panel, drives, motors, Thyristor (and DCS system) etc
- Develop budgets, estimating labor, material, maintenance, and construction costs.
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
- Prepare the electrical maintenance plan.
- Supervise and train maintenance team members as necessary.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Acts proactively with his team to implement 5S requirements.
- Keeps up to date with quality.
- Increase the efficiency of the employees and encourage them to participate in the quality control system
- Back up of the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
- To provide support and resource for local WCM activities whilst implementing global projects, local projects, Act as project/pillar sponsor, leader, member.
- Compliance to statutory/legal Occupational Health, Environment & Safety company policies and procedures.
- Compliance with the company QMS, Quality Control, Product compliance of Saint-Gobain.
Job Requirements
- B.SC of engineering specialization in electrical power as well as a minimum of 3 years experience, preferable working in a similar industry, in the field of glass, cement, steel, ceramic, etc.
- Has a good experience with Medium Voltage and Low voltage control panel
- Good experience with (DCS system and programming by Siemens S7, VSD control)
- Excellent command of English
- Good knowledge of MS office.
- Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Problem-solving abilities

- Strong organizational and communication skills
