Job Description

Main Job Duties:

  • Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
  • Prepare daily sales report and Quarterly business plan.
  • Direct contact of prospective clients through personal visits and phone calls.
  • Develop a database of prospective clients.
  • Extensive Market & Industry research to Identify new opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
  • Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Finance Controller.
  • Follow up of quotations as needed and communicate the positive or negative feedback in respect of being able to source the competitive rate to support the closure of all business opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Presentable
  • Full knowledge of shipping & logistics market.
  • Owning a database of clients.
  • 1+ years experience in Freight Forwarding / Shipping Sales with proven track records.
  • Sales Skills, Customer Service Skills.
  • Good understanding of market trends and demand.
  • Strong communication skills- Good organizational skills.
