Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff
Schedule shifts and delegate tasks
Conduct regular staff evaluations and meetings
Customer Service
Ensure a positive customer experience
Handle customer complaints and special requests
Maintain high standards of service and hospitality
Inventory and Supplies
Manage stock levels and place orders with suppliers
Monitor and minimize waste and theft
Oversee the storage, rotation, and quality of products
Financial Management
Manage daily cash flow, POS systems, and reconcile till reports
Meet sales and profitability targets
Analyze business performance and report to senior management
Regulatory Compliance
Enforce legal compliance with licensing laws and health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the bar area
Ensure all staff follow company policies and procedures
Marketing and Promotion
Plan and execute promotions, events, or happy hours
Collaborate with marketing for advertising campaigns
Monitor customer feedback and adjust offerings accordingly
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a bar manager or in a supervisory role in hospitality
Strong knowledge of beverages, mixology, and bar operations
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with budgeting, inventory, and scheduling software
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Relevant certifications (e.g., Responsible Service of Alcohol)
