We are a fast-growing company with over 10 years’ experience providing clients with real results. We have a diverse team of marketers, designers, writers, developers and video producers in house and we're now looking to appoint an experienced Website Design Tester, to join our ever-expanding team. We're offering a full time, permanent role with a work from home option.
As a Website Design Tester, you will evaluate and test the design and quality of websites we develop as well as help set up processes and new systems to improve our team's design and development quality.
We are based in the UK and Ireland - but have a team in Egypt. This position will be to join the team in Egypt. We no longer have a local office, so it will be a work from home role, unless you prefer for an office. It will be to work UK time. Excellent internet is a requirement. Working as park of the Web team, this role will be testing websites - with a focus on UI/UX, application of design and build quality. It is critical we deliver the best quality website projects to our customers and this role is a critical part of this process.
Website Tester Role -
- Produce test documentation to support testing effort to agreed standards.
- Perform quality testing (cross browser) on projects and issues to agreed processes and timescales.
- Working from design documents, and with guidance and support from other development team members, manually test websites, tablet Apps and desktop applications.
Job Requirements
- Strong Knowledge of WordPress, Woocommerce and/or Shopify
- A solid understanding of HTML 5 and CSS 3.
- Experience using versioning software Git.
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS.
- Experience using Figma or equivalent software
- Experienced in cross browser & cross device testing.
- Experience with BrowserStack or equivalent.
- Experience testing mobile/desktop applications.
- Ac good eye for detail. Able to identify differences between design and website.
- Experience of preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress updates.
- Effective defect management including providing accurate reproduction steps.
- Degree OR equivalent experience.
- Experience of working in an agency environment.
