Job Description
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Write high quality, easy to understand material for user guides, instruction manual, developer guides, technical design documents, integration design document, API documentation, etc.
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities. Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
- Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
- Create and maintain the information architecture.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation. Index and catalog materials.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience as a technical writer.
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
- Excellent written skills in English.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visio, Wireframes tools (ex. AXURE).
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.
- Grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
- Ability to work at multiple projects simultaneously.
