Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities 

Planning & Monitoring Process:

• Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting operations.
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Ensuring all applicable regulations are followed
• Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.
• Develops business units’ financial plans including revenue targets and cost budget.

Operation Excellence Process:

• Maintaining accurate and complete financial records and facilitating audits and directs reconciliations, as needed.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Maintain control of the following areas: general ledger, accounts payable, expense reports, billing, and payroll.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Analyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties
• Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit

Customer Satisfaction Process:

• Support other operational departments with needed financial data.

Innovation Process:

• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Keeping informed about the latest developments in the international accounting principals
