Job Description
Finance Accountant
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with laws and regulations.
- Track and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Assist other departments such as HR and Marketing with reviewing of expenses.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Assist in preparing the taxation reports in Egypt.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
Job Requirements
- Finance or Accouting major with Bachelor degree or above
- Candidates from logistics / courier industry are preferred
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month / year-end close process
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Excellent spoken and written English
